About Kean Richmond

Kean Richmond

My name is Kean Richmond and I am a Web Designer and Developer living in North Yorkshire, UK. This website serves as my primary online presence, showcasing both my work and ideas through the portfolio and blog.

I have studied for four years at the University of Teesside, completing a year's placement for IBM and graduating with First Class honours in Web Development. Soon after graduating I began working at Bronco Internet in the role of Web Designer.

Although I work predominantly as a designer I also work as a developer, this gives me a greater appreciation of the full process involved in developing a website. This is something I feel strongly about and feel it can only benefit the work I produce.

I work hard to continually improve my abilities and methods in which I work and try my best to work to the highest standards in all areas of my job. I feel it an important part of my job to educate clients about what is still a young industry.

  • Company

I currently work for Bronco Internet based in Ripon North Yorkshire. The company is owned by David and Becky Naylor with Dave Naylor one of the most known and respected people in the field of Search Engine Optimisation.

I have worked at Bronco since 2006 as a Web Designer/Developer undertaking a wide range of projects ranging from design to programming.

  • Freelance

As well as working full time I undertake freelance projects that compliment and challenge my abilities.

When accepting freelance projects I try to ensure that the project is suitable for freelancing and that the client is fully aware of the benefits and shortcomings of freelancing over using a web studio. Doing this ensures the best for myself and the client.
