When building a website there’s always that one page you just can’t be bothered with but you know has to be done. So instead of putting in the time and effort required you just throw any old shit together, more often than not this becomes the About page.
The reason for this is because there are few people that like talking about themselves and even fewer that can write about themselves. People are concerned about finding that balance between writing enough to sound interesting but not so much that you appear bigheaded or even worse a complete prick.

Earlier in the year I was faced with an issue of integrating a Twitter feed into a website, problem was the website wasn’t using WordPress. At the time it appeared like every Twitter plugin available was built to integrate with the popular blogging platform. At the time I was able to hash together a working PHP function but over time problems kept coming up resulting in much needed improvements. Finally I think I have something that’s fairly indestructable.

So I’ve been sat on this project for a few months now, with all sorts of important and pointless activities distracting me from launching these sites. This did however mean I didn’t rush the projects to launch and find myself with two broken websites that quickly needed putting right (although that may yet happen).
