Description: After seeing our portfolio of work Soundsavers came to Bronco to redesign and rebuild their website. At the time the website was getting a little old and the design reflected this. The aim of the project was to carry out a full redesign of the website in order to increase the websites revenue. Much of the underlying structure and functionality would remain but would be improved for usability as well as integrated with new features that would enrich the user experience.
In terms of design little was retained from the previous version. Although the primary colour scheme were retained the hue of the colours were changed along with the background colour to create a brighter looking website. The logo was then updated as were the characters created to promote the Professor PA and Dr Luminaire sections. Most other changes to the website served simply as a vehicle to increase sales by streamlining the buying process. .
For this project attention was given to more of the finer details of the site. Rather than use the default template for pages like the 404 and order success pages a more unique design was created for each. This was done to make them not only more visually appealing but to help better communicate the message they were created to serve.
